Lake Erie Walleye, Smallmouth Bass and
Yellow Perch Charters
|
Many times clients,
first timers and regulars, have questions concerning their Lake Erie
charter. Charter fishing anglers shouldn't be in the dark when it
comes to preparing for their fishing trip. The questions below are
some of the more common addressed to Badman Charters by anglers when
deciding to book a trip or often times, days before the charter. As
questions are asked, any unlisted concerns will be added with answers, so
to help the angler decide what they may have to expect or prepare for
THEIR Lake Erie Charters!

| WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF PEOPLE THAT ARE ALLOWED TO GO
ON YOUR CHARTER? The type of charter license allows us to take a
maximum of 6 persons on board, though some prefer to fish with less. |
|
| HOW
LONG IS THE FISHING DAY?
A
typical fishing day is 8-9-hours. |
|
| CAN WE BRING
BEER?
Of
course. But please drink in moderation for safety's sake. Please no glass
containers or liquor! |
|
| IF WE LIMIT
BEFORE THE DAY IS UP WHAT HAPPENS?
Most
of the time customers are happy to go in, get their fish cleaned and head home.
Fish cleaning often takes more than an hour. But others may want to keep fishing
on a catch-and-release basis or if time allowed, we'll fish for another species. |
|
| WHAT AGE IS A FISHING LICENSE REQUIRED?
Persons 16 and older
are required to purchase a fishing license. |
|
ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS? There
are no restrictions on age. Just keep in mind that the fishing charter is
on the water for a full day [8 hours] and that young children may loose
interest. In that case, parents could bring a video game or similar for
them to try when the fishing may be slow. Oftentimes, children may
get tired and it is possible for them to go to the cabin and nap.
